<br />L ~CCI17 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CLOSING AND VACATING THE HEREINAFTER <br />DESCRIBED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the <br /> <br />20th day of March, 1939, pass and adopt Ordinance of Intention No. <br /> <br />1939-1 to order the following work to be done and improvements to be <br /> <br />made in said ,City of Redwood City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> <br />That the following described property be vacated and closed as <br /> <br />a public street and highway, to-wit: <br /> <br />BegilLning at the point of intersection of the southwester- <br />ly line of Gerwin Avenue (now known as Hudson street) with <br />the southeast line of Lincoln Avenue as said Avenues are <br />shovm on that certain map entitled, "Geo. H. Gerwin's Oak <br />Villa Homestead, being a Re-subdivision of Part of Lot No. <br />3 and Lot No. 5 of the Wooster, Whi~ton & Montgomery Sub- <br />division of a Portion of the Redwood Farm", recorded June <br />17, 1908, in Book 6 of Maps at Page 21, in the Recorder's <br />office, San Mateo County, State of California; thence from <br />said point of beginning along said southeast line of Lin- <br />coln Avenue south 44030' west 148.47 feet to the end there- <br />of as shown on said map; thence leaving said southeast <br />line of Lincoln Avenue and running along the southwest line <br />thereof north 45027' west a distance of 60 feet as shown <br />on said map; thence leaving said southwest line of Lincoln <br />Avenue and running along the northwest line thereof north <br />44030' east a distance of 148.47 feet to an intersection <br />with the southwest line of said Gerwin Avenue (now known <br />as Hudson Street); thence southeasterly across said Lin- <br />coln Avenue south 45027' east 60 feet to, the point of ' be- <br />ginning. <br /> <br />All the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of an <br /> <br />ordinance of the City of Redwood City entitled,nOrdinance No. 333", <br /> <br />passed and adopted bjr the Council of the Ci ty of Redwood City on the <br /> <br />14th day of March, 1932, and commonly known as "Redwood City Improve- <br />ment Procedure Ordinance" which ordinance is now on file in the office <br /> <br />of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City and to which reference is <br /> <br />hereby made and the same is made a part hereof. <br /> <br />M~D WHEREAS, said Council, in and by said Ordinance of Intp.n- <br />
