<br />~..-'l <br /> <br />WHEREAS in the death of IGNATIUS CONSTANTINE <br />DRATH~ffiN on the eighth day of July, 1939, the City of <br />Redwood City has lost a faithful public servant who for <br />many years rendered devoted services to this community <br />in the administration of the offices of building, plumbing <br />and electric inspector and health officer, in each of <br />which posts he fulfilled the arduous and often unpleasant <br />duties of office with fairness and integrity; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the versatility and willingness of <br />this public official for twenty years was such that <br />his untimely death is an irreparable loss to this City <br />Government and to the people of this community that <br />should be commemorated by this City Council, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of the City of Redwood City deplores the loss of the valuable <br />services of said IGNATIUS CONSTANTINE DRATHMAN, and records <br />here the genuine sorrow of the members of this Council and <br />of the other administrative officers of this City in his <br />untimely death; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be <br />engrossed on the minutes of the Council, and that a <br />copy hereof, duly certified, be forwarded to the widow <br />of said decedent as a token of the public appreciation <br />of the services of her late husband. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City at a reg~lar meeting thereof held on the 17th <br />day of July, 1939, by the following vote: <br /> <br />H.
