""" ~ ~--l->c- -'" ~ RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS BOULEVARDS ~~~D PRESCRIBING THAT ALL VEHICLES SHALL BE STOPPED BEFORE ENTERING OR CROSSING SUCH BOULEVARDS AND THAT SIGNS SHALL BE POSTED THEREON GIVING NOTICE OF SUCH FACT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City as follows, to-wit: 1,' " Chestnut Street at the intersection of Spring street, and Spring Street at the intersection of Chestnut Street are hereby declared to be boulevards and stop signs shall be erected at the following places giving notice thereof: At the northerly curb line of Spring Street at the easterly line of Chestnut street; At the westerly curb line of Chestnut Street at the northerly line of Spring Street; At the southerly curb line of Spring Street at the westerly line of Chestnut Street; At the easterly curb line of Chestnut street at the southerly line of Spring Street. This resolution is passed pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 305 of the City of Redwood City now on file and of record in the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and any person failing to obey such stop signals at the locations hereinabove prOVided shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor as provided in said Ordinance No. 305 and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of San Mateo, State of California, not exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. fu~D BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to erect stop signs at the places hereinabove mentioned.
