<br />""" ~ ~--l->c- <br />-'" ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS BOULEVARDS ~~~D PRESCRIBING THAT <br />ALL VEHICLES SHALL BE STOPPED BEFORE ENTERING OR CROSSING SUCH BOULEVARDS <br />AND THAT SIGNS SHALL BE POSTED THEREON GIVING NOTICE OF SUCH FACT <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City as follows, <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />1,' " <br /> <br />Chestnut Street at the intersection of Spring street, and Spring <br /> <br />Street at the intersection of Chestnut Street are hereby declared to <br /> <br />be boulevards and stop signs shall be erected at the following places <br /> <br />giving notice thereof: <br /> <br />At the northerly curb line of Spring Street at the easterly line <br />of Chestnut street; <br />At the westerly curb line of Chestnut Street at the northerly <br />line of Spring Street; <br />At the southerly curb line of Spring Street at the westerly line <br />of Chestnut Street; <br />At the easterly curb line of Chestnut street at the southerly <br />line of Spring Street. <br /> <br />This resolution is passed pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 305 of the City of Redwood City now on file and of record in the <br /> <br />office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to and made a part <br /> <br />hereof, and any person failing to obey such stop signals at the locations <br /> <br />hereinabove prOVided shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor as provided <br /> <br />in said Ordinance No. 305 and upon conviction thereof shall be punished <br /> <br />by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or by imprisonment in the County Jail <br /> <br />of the County of San Mateo, State of California, not exceeding ninety <br /> <br />(90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> <br />fu~D BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Street Superintendent of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />erect stop signs at the places hereinabove mentioned. <br />Passed and adopted by the"Council of the City of Redwood City at <br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of November, 1941, by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />
