P- 1418 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND <br />NECESSITY REQUIRE THE IMMEDIATE PERFORMANCE OF <br />EMERGENCY PUBLIC WORK AND SERVICES, ORDERING EMERGENCY <br />EXPENDITURES NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH SUCH WORK AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE PORT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO <br />AGREEMENTS IN PURSUANCE THEREOF <br /> <br />(Wharf No. 4 Vicinity Repairs) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of certain cargo off-loading operations <br />conducted at Wharf No.4, the Port of Redwood City, damages were <br />sustained .to Port facilities in the vicinity of said Wharf, <br /> <br />including properties under lease to tenants of the Port of the <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />vlHEREAS, unless emergency rehabilitation and repairs of the <br /> <br />operative Port facilities damaged aforesaid are effected, the <br /> <br />Port will sustain loss of revenues; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
