P- 1419 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />CONTAINMENT STEEL BUILDING <br /> <br />(SIMSMETAL U.S.A. CORPORATION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Simsmetal <br /> <br />U.S.A. <br /> <br />Corporation <br /> <br />("Lessee" ) <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />requested permission to construct a containment steel building of <br /> <br />approximately 10,000 square feet on property <br /> <br />(the "Leased <br /> <br />premises") leased, occupied and operated by Simsrnetal U.S.A. <br /> <br />Corporation, at its Redwood City plant situated in the "Port <br /> <br />Area"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to paragraph 16 of the Lease Agreement <br /> <br />dated April 3, 1975, by and between Lessee's' predecessor-in- <br /> <br />interest (Levin Metals Corp.) and the Port of Redwood City (the <br /> <br />"Port"), Lessee is required to obtain the Eort's approval prior <br /> <br />to constructing improvements, the cost of which is over Five <br /> <br />Hundred Dollars ($500); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Commission has considered the character, <br /> <br />nature, size and location of the proposed improvement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Commission <br /> <br />to approve the construction of the containment steel building; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />
