<br />AFFIDAVIT OF POSTING NOTICES ~D DESTROY WEEDS <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />) 8S. <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ) <br /> <br />'" " <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />EXSLE W!NTER, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: <br />Tha t I am now, and was during all the times herein <br />mentioned, the duly appointed, qualified Superintendent ot streets <br />of the City ot Redwood City, county and state aforesaid. <br />That on the 8th day of .,reh, 1943, the Council of the <br />City ot Redwood City passed Resolution Declaring Nuisance <br />No. 1943-1, declaring that noxious or dangerous weeds were grow- <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />ing upon all the sidewalks, s treats, avenues, roads, boulevards <br /> <br /> <br />and highways 1n sald city, and upon all the lots and property <br /> <br />1n said city, whieh weeds are or a kind which bear seeds of a <br />wlngy or downy nature and w111 attain such large growth as to <br />become a fire menace when dry; and that said weeds constitute a <br />public nuls6~ce. <br />That atter the passage ot said Resolution Declaring <br />Nuisance No. 1943-1 If;caused to be conspicuously posted along all <br />the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways <br />i~ said city, and in front ot all private property upon which such <br />weeds are growing, at not more than one hundred (100) feet apart, <br />notices entitled, "NOTICE TO DESTROY WEEDSI", a copy of said <br />notices so posted as aforesaid being annexed hereto end being made <br /> <br />a part hereof. <br /> <br />That the posting of said notices was completed on the <br />24~h day of March, 1943. <br /> <br />~W~ <br /> <br />SUBSC~E AND SWORN TO BEFORE ME THIS <br />of- .~ ____ 194_Q_ <br /> <br />Superintendent ot streets <br />or the City of Redwood City_ <br /> <br /> <br />."....---.--- .... <br />
