7A <br /> Page 10 <br /> RESOLUTt4N N4. <br /> A RES�L.UTION QF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING <br /> INDIVIDUAL 1NAT'ER SALES C4NTRACT WITH THE CITY AND <br /> COUNTY 4F SAN FRANCISCO <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has previous(y approved the Water Supply Agreement <br /> between the Ci#y and County of San Francisco and Wholesale Customers in Alameda <br /> County, San Mateo County and Santa Clara County(Agreement); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement con#emplates that each wholesaie customer wi(I also <br /> enter into an individual Water Sales Confiract (Contract) with the San Francisco Public <br /> Utilities Commissivn (SFPUC}, which will describe the specific service area of each <br /> whofesale customer, will identify points of connection between tl�e San .Francisco <br /> Regional Water Sys#em and the wholesale customer's distribution system, and will <br /> contain other specialized provisions, if any, required by the unique circumsfiances of <br /> each wholesale customer; and <br /> WHEREAS, nego#ia#ions between the City and the stafF of the SFPUC <br /> concerning the 1Nater Sa1es Contrac# for the City have been completed satisfacfiori[y, <br /> and the City Manager has recommended that the Council approve a Waters Sa(es <br /> Contract in the form presented. <br /> N�1N, TNEREFORE BE IT RES�LVEd BY TME COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWO�JD CtTY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That the "Water Sales Contract" between the City and the City and County of <br /> San Francisco, acting by and through its Public Utilities Commission, in the form <br /> presented to the Council inc�uding A�tachments A through (Contract), is approved <br /> and the City Manager is aufhorized to execute the Contract on behalf of the City. <br /> � * * <br /> Atty/Reso/Reso.9 922 <br /> 060909 � <br />
