DUNCAN, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That during all the times herein mentioned he was and still is the duly appointed, qualified and a cting Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City, County and state afore- said: That on the 1st day of November, 1943, the Council of the City of Redwood City passed and adopted a resolution declaring the buildings and structures situated on that cer- tain lot described as follows: Lot 9 in Block 13, Range D, of Town of Mezesville, (Redwood City), Cali- fornia, as shown and delineated on a map thereof entitled, uTown of Mezesville", which was filed in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, state of California, on August 1, 1856, in Book 1 of Maps, at page 79, to be a public nuisance and directing the owners to abate said nuisance within thirty (30) days by having said buildings and structures razed or removed, and the ground cleaned and scraped; Tha t after the ,':'Bdoption of said resolu tion on the 4th day of November, 1943, affiant duly posted conspicuously a copy of said resolution upon the property described therein and herein described; That affiant on the 3rd day of November, 1943, de- livered to Mrs. Olive Koempel personally at Redwood City, California, a copy of the resolution herein referred to, and deposited in the United states Post Office at Redwood City, California, in a sealed envelope, with postage prepaid thereon, a copy of the resolution hereinabove referred to, addressed to Charles Mc Rae, who is named as the other owner of the property described in said resolution, and. herein described, on the -1...
