PURPOSE <br />The Ceurtheuse Square is a unique cemmunity asset created fer the benefit ef all <br />ef the residents ef San Mateo. Ceunty. Redweed City manages and supperts events <br />and activities at Ceurtheuse Square which centribute to. the. ecenemic enhancement, <br />cultural enrichment, and premetien ef the City fer the<enjoYll'lent, cenvenience, and <br />safety ef the cemmunity. The purpese ef this CHapter is determine when a <br />Ceurtheuse Square Event Permit is required, tq<syppert the}m~nagement ef the <br />Ceurtheuse Square, and to. ensure the public safE)ty at the Ceurtheuse.<i~quare. <br /> <br />This Chapter is supplemented with the CelJrtheuse Square Event Administrative <br />Guidelines and Ceurtheuse Square Schedule ef Fees. .... The Administrative Guidelines <br />describes the pelicies and precedures fer events at Ceurtheuse Square. The Schedule <br />ef Fees, adepted by Ceuncil, establishes a fee structure for Ceurtheuse Square events. <br /> <br />SECTION II. GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />Definitiens. "App.licant" means any persen, firm, asseciatien, cerperatien, erganizatien, <br />c1ub,\e>f ad hecCbmmittee seeking a Ceurtheuse Square event permit frem <br />the Cltyi to. conduct er spenser an event geverned by this article. The <br />applicanLshal1 be the individual at least 18 years eld who. is directly <br />respensiblEffer erganizing and/er cenducting the event, including event clean <br />up. If alcehel will be served at the event, the persen signing the applicatien <br />must be at least 21 years eld. <br /> <br />E. "Assembly" means a greup ef persens gathered tegether fer a cemmen <br />reasen. <br /> <br />F.
