MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> October 6, 1997 <br /> MO. 97-189 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: October 9, 1997 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Public Works Services Director <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: Extension of Time for Arbitration Proceedings Under Settlement and <br /> Master Water Sales Contract with the City and County of San <br /> Francisco (304) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on October 6, 1997. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan, Claire, Howard, La Berge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Hartnett <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> Councilman Ruskin said he would support Item 3.1. but wanted to make a <br /> statement about it. <br /> <br /> Councilman Ruskin asked that "Council be kept apprised of the negotiations as <br /> they move forward, to get a sense of what direction they are taking, what the figures <br /> are going to look like, rather than simply waiting for some time in the future when <br /> they are finalized." He suggested that staff work with the Council Utilities <br /> Committee. <br /> <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Hartnett determined it to be the consensus of the Council <br /> that staffwork with the Utilities Committee on this issue.
