RES 0 L UTI 0 N .....-r NO. /4J ORDERING BUILDING INSPECTOR TO RAZE OR TO REMOVE BUILDING WHEREAS, this City Council has acquired jurisdic- tion to order the razing or removal of the building or structure situated on that certain lot in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, state of California, and particu- larly described as follows: Lots 1, 2, and 3 in Block 1, as shown and delineated on that certain map entitled, "Map of the Reese'- Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm" I which was filed in the of- fice of the County Recorder of-the County of San Mateo, Stateiof Ca,1.ifornia, on March 22, 1905, in Book "Btt of .Maps, at page 5; and ...--/~// ~/ WHEREAS, th~/ma'rii tenance of s aid building or structure has been found to be ., a public nuisance by reason of the failure of the owner. of said property to remove said build~ng or structure within the thirty days prior to this da te.; RESOLVED, that L. M. DUNCAN, as Building Inspector of this city, be and he is hereby directed to raze or remove the building or structure now situated upon said property, at the expense of the owner thereof; that all material from said building shall be sold by said Building Inspector at public auction after not less than five days' notice thereof publish- ed in the Redwood City Tribune, a newspaper of general cir- culation published and circulated in said city, after said building or structure has been razed or removed, and that he shall deduct from the expense of said action the amount re- caived from the sale of such material; that said Building Inspector post conspicuously on said property a verified statement of the gross and net expense of razing or removing said building or structure, together with a notice of the time and place when and where the said statement shall be submitted -1-
