WHEREAS, said Council did proceed with said hearing and after considerlng all objections made and received does determine that due and legal notice of said hearing was' given as required by the ordinances of the Ci ty of' Redwood C1 ty 8='8 appears from the affidavit of L. M. DUNCAN on file in the office of the City C~rk; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City and said Council does hereby declare the building or structure situated upon the real property here- inabove described to be a public nuisance and does hereby direct the owner thereof to abate said nu1sancewithin thirty (30) days from the passage and adoption ot this resolution, by discontinuing the use of said property otherwise than as a single family dwelling, and discontinuing any subletting of any part of said premises for housekeeping purposes, and of occupying any part thereof by persons other than the family of the prin- cipal occupant, and of fUrnishing board in or upon said premises to occupants or any other person, and if said nuisance is not so abated by said owner the City Attorney of said City of Redwood City is hereby directed to file and prosecute a suit or action in the Superior Court of the County of San Mateo, State of Cali- fornia, in the name of said City of Redwood, City to obtain an injunction against the maintenance of said nuisance and to re- cover damages for such maintenance of such nuisance, costs and other relief, as well as to institute and prosecute such criminal proceedings as he may be advised for any misdemeanor now being committed by anyone upon the premises hereinabove de~cribed.
