<br />RES 0 L, UTI 0 N NO. 163 <br />AUTHORIZING DEED TO PENINSULA TITLE GUARANTY COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS~ NELLE L. MIRAMONTES, City Collector, <br />entered into a written contract with H. C. MUNSON and ELLA <br />MUNSON, his wife, dated March 26, 1940, for the sale by the <br />City of Redwood City of Lot 51 of the Reese Subdivision of <br />a Part of the Redwood Farm, for $2500., and pursuant thereto <br />portions of said lot have heretofore been conveyed tc!>, <br />said purchasers upon payment by them of an aggregate of <br />$1525.; and <br />WHEREAS' this C1 ty Council has agre-ed to w ai ve <br />interest on the balance of $975., payable pursuant to said <br />contract, provided such balance is paid promptly, together <br />with taxea assessed against said property since the date of <br />said contract; and <br />WHEREAS since the date of said contract said Ella <br />Munson has died, a. nd said H. .C. Munson has requested that the <br />remainder of said Lot 51, not heretofore conveyed to him, or <br />to his order, be now conveyed by a deed to PENINSULA TITLE <br />GUARANTY COMPANY: <br />RESOLVED that NELLE L. MIRAMONTES, aa said City <br />Collector, be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute a deed conveying to said Peninsula Title Guaranty <br />Company the portions of said Lot 51 not heretofore conveyed, <br />reserving, however, that portion of said Lot 51, 50 feet in <br />width, for an extension of Poplar Avenue, westerly from the <br />westerly line of Ebener street through Lot 51_ for a public <br />street, and to deliver said deed to the ,grantee or its order <br />upon receipt for the City or Redwood City of $975. as the <br />balance of the purchase price, without interest, p]U$ $144.99 <br />. for taxes assessed by said city against said property from <br />1940 to and including thef'iacal yea-r 1944-1945, ana subject to <br />taxes ass-;eg:S3ad~ against s;a1d property by the Co--unty of San Mateo-. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
