I"~ <br /> <br />DETERIVITNING PRELININARILY THAT PUBLIC CON- <br />VENIENCE AND }ffiCESSITY REQUIRE THE IMPROVE~ <br />MENTS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, FIXING TEE <br />Tll{B AND PLACE FOR HEARING PROTESTS AGAI~ST <br />SUCH IMPROVEMENTS, AND REQUIRING PUBLICATION <br />OF NOTICE OF SUCH HEARING. <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED LOCAL IMPROVEMENT. <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that public convenience and necesstty require the improvements <br /> <br />hereinafter described, and that said Council intends to in- <br /> <br />sti tute: a proceeding for the construction of such improvements <br /> <br />by public proceedings, pursuant to Ordinance No. 33:3: of the <br /> <br />01 ty of Redwood Ci ty enti tIed: "Redwood City Improvement <br /> <br />. >> <br />Pro cs-dura:" Ordinance~, adop ted March 14, 1932, and all amendmen ts~ <br /> <br />thereof; thgt <br /> <br />the 5th day of March, 1945, at 8:00 o'clock <br /> <br />t>. m. at the Council Chambers:, in the City Hall, on Middlefield <br /> <br /> <br />Road, in said Oi ty of Redwood Oi ty, are- hereby fixed: as the <br /> <br />time and place when and where any and all persons ~nterested <br /> <br />may appear and show cause, if any they have, why said City <br /> <br />Council should not find and determine that the public conven- <br /> <br />ience and necessity require the improvements hereinafter de- <br />scribed,' without further compliance with the Special Assessment <br /> <br />Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, now <br /> <br /> <br />embodied in the streets' and Highways Code of California as <br /> <br />Division 4; that notice of the adoption of this resolution, ani <br /> <br />of the time and place of hearing protests against said improve- <br /> <br />ments be given by the City Clerk by publishing a copy of this <br />resolution in the Redwood City Tribune once, at least ten (10) <br /> <br />days before said date fixing the time and place for hearing <br />and <br />protests by posting the same on or near the Council Chamberst <br />'" <br /> <br />door of said COLIDcil; that written protest against said improve- <br /> <br />ments may be filed and will be heam by s aid Council at the <br /> <br />said time and place; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the improvements hereinabove <br /> <br />-1- <br />
