I"~ DETERIVITNING PRELININARILY THAT PUBLIC CON- VENIENCE AND }ffiCESSITY REQUIRE THE IMPROVE~ MENTS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, FIXING TEE Tll{B AND PLACE FOR HEARING PROTESTS AGAI~ST SUCH IMPROVEMENTS, AND REQUIRING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SUCH HEARING. NOTICE OF PROPOSED LOCAL IMPROVEMENT. RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that public convenience and necesstty require the improvements hereinafter described, and that said Council intends to in- sti tute: a proceeding for the construction of such improvements by public proceedings, pursuant to Ordinance No. 33:3: of the 01 ty of Redwood Ci ty enti tIed: "Redwood City Improvement . >> Pro cs-dura:" Ordinance~, adop ted March 14, 1932, and all amendmen ts~ thereof; thgt the 5th day of March, 1945, at 8:00 o'clock t>. m. at the Council Chambers:, in the City Hall, on Middlefield Road, in said Oi ty of Redwood Oi ty, are- hereby fixed: as the time and place when and where any and all persons ~nterested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why said City Council should not find and determine that the public conven- ience and necessity require the improvements hereinafter de- scribed,' without further compliance with the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, now embodied in the streets' and Highways Code of California as Division 4; that notice of the adoption of this resolution, ani of the time and place of hearing protests against said improve- ments be given by the City Clerk by publishing a copy of this resolution in the Redwood City Tribune once, at least ten (10) days before said date fixing the time and place for hearing and protests by posting the same on or near the Council Chamberst '" door of said COLIDcil; that written protest against said improve- ments may be filed and will be heam by s aid Council at the said time and place; FURTHER RESOLVED that the improvements hereinabove -1-
