CONTRACT FEE ESTIMATE 6.1 ESTIMATED CONTRACT FEE The estimated cost breakdown to complete the work scope described in sections 2, 3 and 4 of this proposal is itemized in Tables 6.1 (Estimated Total Contiact Fee). As shown in Table 6.1, the total contract fee estimate for professional labor and miscellaneous costs described herein through preparation and submittal of the Draft EIR and Final EIR totals approximately $196,709. The cost total includes delivery to the City of one PDF disk and one "camera-ready" copy of the public release NOP; and printing and delivery of fifteen (15) copies of the Administrative Draft EIR, five (5) copies of the Screencheck Draft EIR, seventy-five (75) copies of the Draft EIR, fifteen (15) copies of the Administrative Final EIR, and seventy-five (75) copies of the Final EIR. The cost total also includes attendance at four staff meetings. one scoping meeting, and three public hearings by John Wagstaff andlor Ray Pendro, and attendance at up to three staff meetings and two public hearings by Sohrab Rashid of Fehr & Peers. Final EIR. The estimate is also based on the assumption that no more than $19,555 of the total fee will be allocated to preparation, reproduction and delivery of the Final EIR (Responses to Comments) document. The cost total also includes a 10 percent contingency amount for use only with City staff written authorization. Any additional professional time requested of the SEIR consultants by the City for revisions, meetings, testimony, etc., beyond the scope of work described herein and itemized in Tables 6.1 would be billed to the City on a time-and-materials basis at standard hourly rates. 6.2 PROPOSED COMPENSATION SCHEDULE It is proposed that payments to Wagstaff and Associates for services rendered in accordance with the scope of services and schedule described herein will be based upon submission of monthly statements. These statements will itemize all charges, including monthly totals and running totals. The proposed payment schedule is as follows: A. 5 percent of the total project fee upon contract execution; B. Monthly payments not exceeding 80 percent of the total fee prior to completion of the Administrative Draft EIR; C.
