RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 207 ACCEPTING DEIDIOATION OF EXTENSION OF POPLAR AVENUE AS A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE ltVHEREAS, the Oi ty of Redwood Oi ty has conveyed by deed to Peninsula Title Guaranty Company, a corporation, a por- tion of Lot 51 as sho'wn on the map entitled tfWooster, Whitton and Man tgomery Resubdi vis ion If of a part of Redwo cd Farm, and said Peninsula Title Guaranty Company intends imme4iately to execute a dedication of a portion of said property extending from the southwesterly line of Ebener Street through said Lot 51, ftfty feet in ~_dth and with the lines thereof constituting an extension southwesterly of Poplar Avenue as it now exists on the northeast- erly side of Ebener St~eet, so that said Poplar Avenue shall be- come a public tho~oughfare to the northeasterly line of Hudson Street, and also inte~ds to acquire, or has acquired, title to Lots 8 and 9 in Block 1, as shown on a map entitled uRedwood Oaks" here- tofore recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, and will immediately dedicate the area of said lots as a part of the extension of Poplar Avenue; RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby agree to accept such extension of Poplar Avenue as a public street and thoroughfare of this city, such acceptance ;to be effective immediately upon a dedication thereof by said Peninsula Title Guaranty Company.
