<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 215 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF LAND IN FEE <br />FOR CITY STREET <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that it finds and determines and hereby declares: <br />That public interest and necessity require the acquisi- <br />tion, construction and completion by the City of Redwood City of <br /> <br />a public improvement, namely, a city street as an extension of <br /> <br />poplar Avenue from Ebener Street to Hudson street through the <br /> <br />real property hereinafter in this resolution described; <br /> <br />That the use of all of said land for a city street is a <br /> <br />public use authorized by law; <br /> <br />That the taking of said land in fee is necessary to and <br /> <br />for such public use, and that it is necessary that all of said <br /> <br />land be so taken; <br /> <br />That said proposed city street is planned and located in <br /> <br />a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public <br /> <br />good and the least private injury; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of this city be <br /> <br />and he is hereby authorized and empowered: <br /> <br />To acquire, in fee, in the name of this city, the said <br /> <br />hereinafter described land by condemnation in accordance with the <br /> <br />provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of Calif- <br /> <br />ornia relating to eminent domain; to prepare and prosecute in the <br /> <br />name of this city such suit or suita in the proper court having <br />jurisdiction therein as are necessary to condemn said land. in fee <br /> <br />for said use; <br /> <br />To make an application to said court of an order fixing <br />the amount or amounts of such security in the way of money deposits <br /> <br />1. <br />
