McGARVEY, a single man, by a deed dated the lli th day of July, 1945, conveyed to Redwood City Post No. 105, The American Legion, Department of California, a corporation of this state as the second party, and to the City of Redwood City, the third party, the real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, state of California, particularly described as follows: All that portion of Villa Lot numbered Seventeen (17) as sho1Jm on t.he map en ti tled uTovm of Mezesville If" filed August 1, 1856 in Book 1 of Maps at page 79, San Mateo County Records, which lies Southwest of that certain strip conveyed by Deed from May Leonard to Southern Pacific Railroad Company, dated May 7, 1900 and recorded May 8, 1900 in Book 84 of Deeds at page 218. EXCEPTING therefrom that parcel of land conveyed in Deed from H. D. McGarvey to state of California, dated October 19, 1936 and recorded November 17, 1936 in Book 712 of Official Records at page 402, records of San Mateo County, California. upon the conditions itated in said deed, and W}ffiREAS the City Council of said ~ity of Redwood City is willing to accept the reversionary interest described in said deed upon the conditions therein named, RESOLVED, by the City Council of said City that said deed be, and the same is hereby accepted upon the conditions therein stated, if and when said title vests in said City.
