<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />N o. 300. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING DEED FROM TEE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY TO THOWlAS B. CLARK AND HELEN A. CLARK, HIS <br />WIFE, AS JOINT TENANTS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />has heretofore given public notice soliciting bids for the real <br /> <br /> <br />property hereinafter described for the time and in the manner <br /> <br /> <br />required by the Charter of this City and has heretofore appointed <br /> <br />an appraiser to appraise the fair market value of said property <br /> <br />and THOMAS B. CLARK and HELEN A. CLARK submitted a written bid <br /> <br />or offer to purchase said property for $1,500.00, and said bid <br /> <br />was the highest and best bid received for said property and is <br /> <br />not less than 90 per cent of the app~aised value ~hereof as <br /> <br />appraised by said appraiser, and is found to be the reasonable <br /> <br />market value of said property at this time; <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City sell 'and <br /> <br />convey to THOMAS B. CLARK and BELEN A. CLARK, by a deed of Joint <br /> <br />Tenancy, the real property hereinabove referred to, situated in <br /> <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, state of California <br /> <br />and particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Lots 1 and 2 in Block 48 as shown on a map en- <br />ti tIed uMap of Eas'tern Addi tion of Redwood Ci tylf <br />filed in the office of the County Recorder of <br />San Mateo County, State of California, on <br />November 3, 1862 in Book 2 of Miscellaneous <br />Records at page 85, and copied into Book 1 <br />of Maps at page 81, <br /> <br />for said sum of $1,500.00 paid concurrently with the delivery of <br /> <br />such deed; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Clerk of this <br /> <br />City be and they are hereby authorized to execute such deed for <br />and on behalf of said City. <br />
