<br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br />be and he is hereby ordered and directed to post a notice of seid <br />work and improvements, together with plans, profiles, detailed draw- <br />ings and specifications therefor, conspicuously for five days on or <br />near the Council Chambers door of the Council of said City of Red- <br />wood Ci ty in vi ting sealed proposals or bids for d,oing the work and <br />. making the improvements ordered herein. Said City Cilierk is also <br />ordered and directed to publish a notice inviting such sealed pro- <br />posals or binds and referring to the plans, profiles, detailed <br />drawings and specifications posted or on file of the period required <br />by law in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) news- <br />paper of general circulation published, printed and circulated in <br />the City of Redwood City, and hereby designated for that purpose <br />by the Council of said City; <br />IT IS FURTHER ORDERED TI~T all bids. shall be delivered <br />to the office of the City Manager of the City of Redwood City in the <br />City Hall of said City, not later than the hour of 3:00 o'clock <br />P.M. of Monday, the 6th day of May, 1946 when said bids will be <br />opened and examined by said City Manager and a recommendation made <br />as to the awarding of said contract before the Council of said City <br />at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 6th day of -May, <br />1946. <br /> <br />The Council of the City of Redwood City reserves the <br />right to reject any and all bids. <br />IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the work and improvements <br />herein described whall be done under the direction of the City <br />Engineer of said City of Redwood City, and that materials used <br />therein shall comply with the specifications heretofore adopted <br />and be to tbe s8.tisfaction of said Engineefi instead of the <br />Superintendent of streets of said City. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />l"",,,~,- <br />
