The real property hereinabove referred to is situated in the City of 'Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of Calif- ornia, and particularly described as follows: to-wit- An easement five (5) feet in width, immediately ad- joining an easement presently held by this City along the Northeasterly side of such present e'ase- ment from the Southeasterly line of Rodgers street to the Easterly line of Middlefield Road, the easemen t now held by this CJ ty being ten (10) feet in width on the Northeasterly side and immediately adjoining the Rancho Pulgas line, as shown on a map of Rancho De Las Pulgas, heretofore recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County of San Mateo, state of Califc~nia.. FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of this City be and he is hereby authorized either before or after filing a com- plaint in eminent domain to negotiate with the owners of said lands for the purchase or ~cquisition otherwise of such easement at the reasonable value thereof as determined by an appraisal approved by this City Council. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of April, 1946, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGT, FLETCHER GRANGER, McNULTY and HILTON".
