---~-- RES 0 L UTI 0 N No. ' 314 AWAHD OF CONTR~\CT POR DRAIlJAGE S'~IRUCTURE EL CAIvrI:NO HEAL AND JAMES A VBNUE WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City pursuant to the notice to contractors calling for bids for the construc- tion of the improvement hereinafter stated, received, examined and declared all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work and making the follOwing improvements in the City of Redwood City, to-wi t: for furnishing all labor, material and equipment for the construction of a storm drain, along the westerly side of EI Camino Heal from James Avenue southerly approxi- mately 180 feet to the existing catchbasin, consisting of reinforced concrete catchbasins and concrete nine drain, and filling with asphaltic con~rete the v;liey gutter on the westerly side of EICamino Real at James Avenue. All the work to be done under the conditions at the locations and of the materials described in the plans and specificati0ns. RESOLVED, that said Council of the City of Redwood City hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that next here- in mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing s8id work and malting sc:,id impI'ovements to the lowest, regular, responsible bidder, to-wit: PETER SORENSON t\ at the prices named in hiS_bid, subject, to approval of the State Highway, Comnis,:3ion.
