PD Findin s

• Neighborhood has maintained this project does not
comply with PD permit
• Staff has long maintained the same
• Commission also agreed :
Commissioner Cronin, 5/19:
"1'm not inclined to support this planned development. 1 made those comments
earlier, and 1 really feel strongly that this is not . . . the best land use in our
community. 1 think the description of this project and the impacts it would ha ve
do not fit that description. 1 don't think it is the best use of that land — that's our
role up here to do that, so 1'm certainly not going to be supporting the planned
development forthis property. "
Commissioner Holt 5/19:
"1 just want to mirror Commissioner Cronin's statements. 1 feel the same way. 1
just don't think that it's the best use and isn't harmonious with the existing
neighborhood, and 1 wanted to take the opportunity, 1 didn't in my initial
comments to thank staff for all the work. . .but the bottom line is, 1 do not think
that it satisfies the goals that we're looking for in regards to a Planned
Development Permit.
