<br />06/22/2009 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14946 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT OVER THE LANDS OF SLOUGH IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT TO SECTION 8333 OF THE <br />CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subdivision maps recorded in August 1987 for Seaport <br /> <br />Centre filed in Volume 117 Pages 17-26 granted the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />easements for utility maintenance purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the portion of the public service easement to be vacated is <br /> <br />more particularly depicted and described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 8333 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State <br /> <br />of California allows a City to summarily vacate a public service easement if the <br /> <br />easement has been superseded by relocation and there are no other public <br /> <br />facilities located within the easement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> <br />2.
