4/'-~ RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 334 AUTHORIZING,CONDEMNATION OF LANDS IN FEE FOR SEWAGE TREAT1ffiNT AND DISPOSAL P~4NT AND ANIIVIAL SEELTER RESOLVED, by the City Counei:!. of the City of Redwood City that it finds and determines and hereby declares: That public interest and necessity. require the acqui- sition, construction and completion by the City of Redwood City of a public improvement, namely, a sewage treatment and disposal plant and animal shelter in that certain property hereinafte,r in this resolution described; That the use of all of said land for said sewage treat- ment and disposal" plant and animal shelter is a public use author- ized by 1 aw j' That the taking of said property in fee is necessary to and for such.public use, and that it is necessary that all of said property be so taken; ~hat said sewage treatment and disposal plant and animal shelter are planned and located in a manner which will be most compatible w~th the greatest public good md the least private injury; FUnTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of this City be and he is hereby authorized and empowered: To acquire in fee, in the name of this City, the real property hereinafter described, by condemnation, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of Californla relating to eminent domain; To prepare and prosecute, in the name of this City, such suit in the proper Court having jurisdiction therein as is.necessary to condew~ such lands in fee for such use; ~ ~ To make application to said Court for an order fixing the amount of such security in the way of money deposits as said Court may direct to be made upon the taking of possession of said 1.
