""" .; :*.. -..... ..c.:f: t- t RES 0 L UTI 0 N No. 399 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF LAND IN FEE FOR RESERVOIR SITE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City j that it finds and determines and hereby declares: That public interest and necessity require the acquisition, construction, completion and maintenance by said City of Redwood City of a public improvement, namely: a reservoir site for the municipal water system of this City in that certain property here- inafter in this resolution described; That the use of all of said land for the purpose herein- above stated is a public use authorized by law; That the taking of said property in fee is necessary to and for such public use, and that it is necessary that all of said property be so taken; That said reservoir site is planned and located in a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injury; "'" FURTHER RESOVEID that the City Manager of this ,City be and he is hereby authorized and empowered To acquire in fee, in the name of this City, the real property hereinafter described, by dondemnation, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of Oali- fornia relating to eminent domain; To prepare and prosecute, in the name of this City, such suit in the proper Court having jurisdiction therein as is necessary to condemn such lands in fee for such use; To make application to said Court for an order fixing the amount of such security in the way of money deposits as said Court may direct to be made upon the taking of possession of said 1.
