<br />6.2E <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />contractor agrees to take affirmative action to ensure that <br />applicants are employed, and that employees are treated <br />during employment, without regard to their race, religion, <br />color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental <br />disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political <br />affiliation. Such action shall include, but not be limited to the <br />following: employment, upgrading, demotion or transfers; <br />recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; <br />rates of payor other forms of compensation; and selection for <br />training, including apprenticeship. The Contractor agrees to <br />post in conspicuous places, available to employees and <br />applicants for employment, notices to be provided by the City <br />of Redwood City setting forth the provisions of this Fair <br />Employment Practices section. <br /> <br />(2) The Contractor agrees to permit access to his records of <br />employment, employment advertisements, application forms, <br />and other pertinent data and records by the State Fair <br />Employment Practices Commission, or any other agency of <br />the State of California designated by the awarding authority, <br />for the purposes of investigation to ascertain compliance with <br />the Fair Employment Practices section of this contract. <br /> <br />D. Nondiscrimination Based on Disability. <br /> <br />Contractor hereby agrees that it will comply with the provisions of <br />Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, providing <br />equal access and reasonable accommodations in employment <br />programs and services to persons who are disabled. <br /> <br />E. Interest of Public Officials. <br /> <br />No members, officers, employees, or agents of the City of Redwood <br />City, no member of the City Council and no other public official who <br />exercises any function or responsibility with respect to this <br />Agreement or Contractor's Program during his or his tenure, or for <br />one year thereafter, shall have any interest, direct or indirect, in this <br />contract or a related subcontract, or the proceedS thereof. <br />Contractor shall incorporate in all subcontracts hereunder a <br />provision prohibiting such interest. <br /> <br />F.
