<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 464 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REDWOOD VILLAGE WATER SYSTEM <br />FOR TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City that the City of Redwoo4 City purchase, for the sum of <br />Twenty-Six Thousand Dollars ($26,000), from the California <br /> <br />Water Service Company, all improvements, pipes, mains, valves, <br />fi ttings, meter boxes ',but not meters~. and. other faci!i ties <br /> <br />of any and every kind owned or used by said California Water <br />Service Company in the operation of that certain portion of <br />its Bear Gulch System, situated in the area bounded by Middle- <br />field Road, Charter Street, Spring Street and Douglas Avenue. <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is <br /> <br />hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for the purchase <br /> <br />of the above described water system and to execute such agree- <br /> <br /> <br />ment on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted py the Council of the City of Red- <br />wood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of <br />April, 1947, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the <br /> <br /> <br />foregoing Resolution: Councilmen: Britschgi, Granger, McNulty, <br /> <br /> <br />Swift, Werder and Hilton. <br /> <br />NOES, Councilmen: None <br /> <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: Armstrong <br /> <br />/I)lat~~ <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br />Cle <br /> <br />I hereby approve th~.f~,egoing Resolution <br />this itift-f- day of ~v.I ,1947. <br />ta6tJ.~. <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />
