<br />CGM:mf 3/4/81 <br />CGM:mf 3/6/8lR <br /> <br />ORIG;NAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8809 <br /> <br />MAR 9 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A <br />PAVEMENT MARKING DEMONSTRATION PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING <br />CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for a pavement marking demonstration project <br /> <br />(installation of thermoplastic pavement markings on highly travelled <br /> <br />roadways in the City of Redwood City); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval thereof <br /> <br />and authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for bids for <br /> <br />the performance of such work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Pavement Marking Demonstration <br /> <br />Project at Various Locations - City of Redwood City," and those <br /> <br />certain specifications entitled "Special Provisions for Pavement <br /> <br />Marking Demonstration Project at Various Locations - City of Redwood <br /> <br />City," on file in the office of the Department of Public Works, <br /> <br />are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of such work in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the <br /> <br />form of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set forth in the <br /> <br />above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8809 <br />
