<br />CGM:yc:8/21/80 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8686 <br /> <br />AUG 2 5 1980 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH BROWNING-FERRIS INDUSTRIES <br />OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, INC., FOR GARBAGE AND REFUSE <br />COLLECTION SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the predecessor-in- <br /> <br />interest of Browning-Ferris Industries of San Mateo County, Inc., <br /> <br />entered into an agreement whereby garbage and refuse collection <br /> <br />services were provided to the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City and Browning-Ferris Industries of San Mateo <br /> <br />County, Inc., desire to amend the aforementioned agreement to <br /> <br />provide for garbage and refuse collection rate modification and <br /> <br />adjustment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Agreement" (form <br /> <br />dated 8/21/80), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Browning-Ferris Industries of San Mateo County, Inc., copies of <br /> <br />which are presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the same for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8686 <br />
