On February 26, 2021, at least ten days before the hearing date, notice of the <br />City Council hearing was posted on the City website, placed in the San Mateo Dailylournal, emailed to an <br />interested parties list, and posted to www.redwoodcity.org/adu. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. A 16 ft. maximum height for detached ADUs and return to City Council in one year to reassess and <br />explore objective standards for taller ADUs. <br />2. Allow an alternative maximum height for detached ADUs of 22 ft. that would allow a full second story <br />above a garage or a standalone two-story ADU with low-pitched roof forms. <br />3. Allow an alternative maximum height for detached ADUs of 18 ft. or 20 ft. that would allow a second <br />story above an existing detached garage. <br />4.
