For the standard bag rating <br />the processing efficiency is 90%. This efficiency rating means 90% of the bags will be <br />open and will have 90% of the material released from the bags. The opening efficiency of <br />bags within bags is typically less than 50%. The bags exit the machine with the released <br />material. The BHS Bag Breaker@ has been designed to minimize shredding of the bags to <br />allow quick and efficient manual removal. The majority of the empty bags remain in one <br />to three elongated pieces. <br />It is required that any large items, such as paint buckets, lawn chairs, etc be removed from <br />the incoming material stream.
