03/08/2021 <br />2. Meetings. The Sub -Committee shall meet at such times as may be <br />necessary. All meetings shall be open to the public and governed by the provisions of <br />the Ralph M. Brown Act, Government Code Section 54950, et seq. <br />3. Staff Su ort. The City's Assistant City Manager and/or Equity and <br />Inclusion Officer shall serve as staff advisor(s) to the Sub -Committee, and shall provide <br />such staff support and assistance as is necessary or appropriate for the Sub -Committee <br />to carry out its duties. <br />4. Duties. The Sub -Committee shall be a recommending body to the City <br />Council. The Sub -Committee shall: <br />a. Review City policies to stimulate equitable treatment of all residents; <br />b. Promote the values of equity and social justice in the community; <br />C. Receive progress reports on the development and implementation of the <br />City's Equity Plan; and <br />d.
