6.F. -Page 16 of 131 <br />Attachment A <br />Bidder's Initials <br />SPECIFICATION FOR ONE_[1)_FREIGHTLINER 108SD FLAT BED <br />WITH A NATIONAL 456B 56 -FOOT, 10 -TON TELESCOPIC BOOM <br />CRANE <br />General: It is the intent of these specifications to define minimum requirements for one (1) <br />Freightliner 108SD, 33,000 pound GVWR two (2) axle cab and chassis with a <br />National 456B 10 -ton 56' telescopic boom crane with horizontally mounted <br />hydraulic out (HO) and down outriggers, or equivalent. It shall be capable of <br />meeting SAE J765 stability requirements at maximum rated capacities, mounted on <br />a single rear axle chassis. This crane shall be designed, manufactured and tested to <br />comply to the applicable portions of ANSI 1330.5, OSHA 1926.550, AWS D14.3 <br />and SAE J-1063. The manufacturer shall maintain appropriate test results to verify <br />compliance to these regulations. This crane is to have a height of not more than <br />149" when mounted on a 38" chassis frame. It shall not exceed 94" in width while <br />in the transport position and shall not utilize more than 62" of bed space for <br />mounting with HO outriggers. The main frame shall be box construction of <br />materials capable of supporting the turret and outriggers. A torsion resisting <br />subbase shall run the length of the chassis frame and connect with the crane and <br />rear stabilizers. The vehicle shall be new, unused, and a current production model <br />consisting of parts and materials that are proper size, quality, and design for the <br />GVWR specified. Items not specifically mentioned but considered standard by the <br />manufacturer shall be included. <br />Model: New Model Year 2021 Freightliner 108SD or newer, or approved equal <br />GVWR: 33,000 lbs. minimum <br />Minimum Axle Rating (Front): 10,000 lbs. <br />Maximum Axle Rating (Rear): 21,000 lbs.
