The City contributed HOME funding to this project <br />Rehabilitation Activity <br />when it was initially acquired and helped facilitate the <br />rebuild process. The reconstruction is expected to be <br />complete in spring 2021. <br />Preservation of Units At -Risk <br />74 <br />74 <br />10 In December 2020, San Mateo County purchased the <br />Pacific Inn (2610 EI Camino Real) using Project Homekey <br />funds. This 74 -room hotel is being converted initially into an <br />emergency, non -congregate homeless shelter with the long- <br />term goal of converting the hotel to permanent affordable <br />housing. <br />Acquisition of Residential Units <br />The City allocated its affordable housing impact fees <br />($2,149,000) from an office development to HIP Housing to <br />help finance the purchase of a 10 -unit property located at <br />3592 Rolison Road. These units were converted to deed - <br />restricted affordable units at the 60% AMI level for a period <br />of 55 years.
