The staff report and proposed <br />amendments will be released with the meeting agenda end of day March 18th and <br />summarized below: <br />Child Care <br />• Allow large family care homes (daycares up to 14 children) by right in all residential <br />units consistent with State law. <br />• Allow child care centers by right in residential districts when paired with a public/quasi- <br />public use (ex. school or church). <br />• Allow standalone child care centers in residential districts with a Use Permit, including <br />conversions of residential structures. <br />• Allow child care centers in commercial and mixed-use areas by right for up to 60 <br />children. A Use Permit would be required for child care centers with 61 or more children. <br />• Create parking standards for child care centers. <br />Miscellaneous Zoning Updates (Zoning 20201 <br />• Allow accessory outdoor uses in commercial and mixed-use zoning districts. <br />• Increase permit validity from 1 -year to 2 -years. <br />0 Remove Planned Development permit requirement for Condominium Permits <br />
