<br />- ~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q. 495 <br /> <br />AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WATER MAINS IN REDWOOD <br />TERRACE NO. 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Manager of the City of Redwood City did <br /> <br />advertise for sealed bids for performing work as follows: <br /> <br />Install water mains in Redwood Terrace No. I, con- <br />sisting of approximately 2500 feet of 8" cast iron <br />pipe, 6300 feet of 611 cast iron pipe " 6;00 feet of <br />4" cast iron pipe, and 310 feet of ~" cast iron pipe <br />with valves, fittings, and appurtenanoes; <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />t:\,. <br /> <br />all materials for said work to be furnished by the City at its cor- <br /> <br />poration Yard, except jointing materials and any and all paving ~ <br />materials necessary for restoration purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS all sealed proposals were publicly opened and <br />read in the office of the City Manager, City Hall, Redwood City, <br />California, on Monday, July 21, 1947, at 11 o'clock A.M.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City as follows: <br />(1) That a contract for doing the work hereinabove re- <br />ferred to is hereby awarded to the lowest responsible bidder there- <br /> <br />for, to wi t : <br /> <br />L. C.
