GUI DE WHEREAS, on May 24, 1946, a contract was entered into between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY and HAHN, CAMPBELL AND ASSOCIATES, Planning Consultants, for the preparation of a Master Plan for Redwood City; and WHEREAS said firm did, pursuant to said ,contract, prepare a ~aster Plan for the City of Redwood City which contained the follow- ing units: 1. Public and Quasi-~Jblic Facilities 2. Zoning Plan 3. Major Street and Highway Plan, 4. Off-Street Parking Plan 5. Park and. Recreation Plan 6. Public Works Plan 7. Civic Objectives 8. Review of City Legislation and WHEREAS sald Master Plan has been finally completed by said firm; and WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the Gfty of Redwood City did adopt and approve said Master Plan, after holding a public hearing thereon, notice of the time and place of which was given according to law; and WHEREAS a certified copy of the Master Plan as adopted by the Planning Commission was forwarded to the City Council of the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS a public hearing was held by the City Council of the City of Redwood City on the 4th day of August, 1947, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., after notice of said hearing was duly published in the Redwood City Tribune in accordance with State law, as appears from the affi- davit on file herein; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of ~edwood City that the said City Council does hereby approve and -1-
