<br />RESOLUTION NO SIt) <br /> <br />me it resolved and it is hereby ordered that the City Auditor establish <br />a Parking Meter Fund in accordance with the recommendation of C. G. Uhlenberg, <br />C. P. A. in his Report on Examination of Accounts, June 30, 1947 as found on <br />Page 18 of his report. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />f <br />That a "Parking Meter Fund" be established as of July 1, 1947. <br /> <br />That all collections from parking meters be recorded as a cr'edit <br />of, the parking meter fund. <br /> <br />That expenditures of parking meter funds, excluding payments equal <br />to 50% of collections for purcr...a~e. of me.ters be alloca.ted 50% to <br />the orr Street parking funds, ~5! for enfol:~c ement a.nd 25% for <br />opera.tion, maintenance and repair:---- -~~_ <br /> <br />That the cost of enforcement, operation, maintenance and repair <br />be reflected in the ar1nua1 budget of the general fund and accounted <br />for in the general fund and transfers be made from the parking <br />meter fund to the general fund for reimbursement. The amounts <br />transferr~d should be based upon budget appropriations not to <br />exceed 50~ of the anticipated net collections from parY~ng meters. <br /> <br />That in the event the cost of enforcement, operation and main- <br />tenance is less than 50% of the net collections from parking <br />meters, then the unexpended portion should be tra.nsferred to the <br />Off-Street Parking Fund.
