<br />SvlC : bc 8/13/8 0 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UT I ON <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8677 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 5 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT HITH SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has been <br /> <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing short term <br /> <br />assistance to persons recently released from correctional systems <br /> <br />and their families in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1980, and ending June 30, <br /> <br />1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has received said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Service League of San Mateo County the sum <br /> <br />of One Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($1,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Service League <br /> <br />of San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOvl, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOvJS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/13/80), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Service League of San Mateo County, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 67 fl <br />
