<br />SvJC: bc 8/13/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8676 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 5 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM <br />(R.S.V.P.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) has <br /> <br />been established for the principal purpose of providing meaningful <br /> <br />volunteer opportunities to Senior Citizens in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, R.S.V.P. has requested financial assistance for use <br /> <br />by it in conducting its activties during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1980, and ending June 30, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to R.S.V.P. the sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred <br /> <br />and No/lOO Dollars ($4,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Retired Senior <br /> <br />Volunteer Program, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOvl, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/13/80), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Retired Senior Volunteer Program, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />86~7G <br />
