03/22/2021 <br />March 3, 2021, HUD acknowledged receipt of this notification; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Section 104(a) of the Act, Public <br />Comment Period Waiver, and Public Hearing Waiver, the City has followed its <br />Community Participation Plan as part of the process for amending the 2019-2020 <br />Annual Action Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, a 10 -day request for public comments on the draft amendment to <br />the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan has been published for public comment from March <br />12, 2021 to March 21, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, this City Council desires to approve the amendments to the 2019- <br />2020 Annual Action Plan and authorize the execution of all documents pertaining <br />thereto, including all understandings and assurances connected therewith. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The amendment to the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan, prepared for <br />submission to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br />Community Development Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community <br />Development Act of 1974, and the HOME Investment Partnership Grant pursuant to <br />Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and the Home <br />Investment Partnerships Program contained in Title II of the Cranston -Gonzalez <br />National Affordable Housing Act, is hereby approved. <br />2. The City Council does hereby certify that the City has followed its adopted <br />Community Participation Plan pursuant to Section 104(a) of the Act, Public Comment <br />Period Waiver, and Public Hearing Waiver. <br />3. The City Manager or her designee is hereby authorized to execute all <br />related documents, including all understandings and assurances necessary or <br />appropriate in connection therewith, and to provide such additional information as may <br />be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />4.
