During the preliminary • design and public presentation process the projects grew into significant park renovations that include drainage, planting, irrigation, fencing, and expanded play ar eas. As the projects progressed, due to the budget crisis and layoffs, we have been asked to coordinate with a total of four different project managers. During the review process members from Engineering, Parks and Recreation and Maintenance provided additional input at several meetings at City Hall. The original schedule was to have these projects out to bi by Febru_ar. f this year. We are as of today, still finalizing the Trawri nr� specifications. The additional public meetings and the resulting additions to the o °r i, acts, coupled with changing project managemenf priorities, have all created additional work hours for our staff. Additional Services Fee Breakdown: 1. Additional Public Meetings. (6 hrs@ $140 +6hrs@ $100) $1,400.00 2. Planting and irrig. Plans - Specs. (8 hrs@ $140 +24 hrs @ $100) $3,520.00 3. Misc. Plan Revisions, (fencing /gates, drainage, play surfacing). (6 hrs @ $140 +28 hrs @ $100) $3,640.00 4. Additional Staff meetings for plan reviews (6 hrs@ $140 +6hrs@ $100) $1,400.00 Total for Additional Services $9,960.00 These are additional services of the original Consultants Agreement dated August 12, 2009.
