<br />fi> <br /> <br />FEI-"IR & PEERS <br /> <br />TRANSPORTATION CONSULTANTS <br /> <br />Attachment A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Transportation Impact Analysis for the <br />Redwood City Downtown Precise Plan <br /> <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impacts of the Redwood City Downtown Precise Plan <br />(DPP) on the transportation system. This scope of work was tailored to update the TIA prepared <br />in October 2006 by Korve Engineering. The project site is located in Redwood City, in an area <br />generally bounded by Veterans Boulevard to the east, Brewster Avenue to the north, EI Camino <br />Real to the west, and Maple Street to the south. <br /> <br />The off-site traffic impacts will be evaluated following the guidelines of the City of Redwood City <br />and the San Mateo City and County Association of Governments (C/CAG), the congestion <br />management agency for San Mateo County. <br /> <br />Based on the 2006 study for the DPP and a preliminary revised trip assignment, the following is a <br />preliminary list of intersections to be included in the analysis. No new traffic counts are proposed <br />as part of this scope, although where newer counts are available, traffic volumes will be updated <br />to match the most recent counts. <br /> <br />Intersections that operate at LOS B or better under Cumulative plus Project under the 2006 DPP <br />EIR were removed from the list of study intersections, as no project impacts are anticipated at <br />these locations. They are shown on the following list with strikothroblQh text. Additionally, two (2) <br />intersections were preliminarily identified for inclusion in the analysis as the DPP is expected to <br />add substantial traffic to each of those intersections, and they operate at LOS C or D based on <br />analysis completed for the General Plan.
