REV: 01-07-2022 MI <br />POLICE LEASE FIRST AMENDMENT <br />This First Amendment is (“Amendment”) made as of this __ day of January, 2022 by and <br />between 2215 Broadway RWC, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Lessor”) and the City <br />of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation (“City”). The Original Agreement is <br />incorporated herein by this reference. All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have <br />the meaning set forth in the Original Agreement. <br />Recitals <br />A. Landlord and Tenant are parties to that certain Lease dated April 7, 2021 (the "Lease"). <br />Pursuant to the Lease, Landlord has leased to Tenant space currently containing <br />approximately 900 square feet located at 2215 Broadway Street, Redwood City, California <br />(the “Premises”). <br />B. Tenant and Landlord mutually desire to amend the Lease to extend the Term of the Lease <br />upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements herein contained <br />and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby <br />acknowledged, Landlord and Tenant agree as follows: <br /> <br />1.Extension Term. The current Term of the Lease, which is scheduled to expire on <br />January 31, 2022, is hereby extended for a period of 12 months (the “Extension <br />Term”), commencing February 1, 2022 (the “Extension Term”) and expiring <br />January 31, 2023, unless sooner terminated pursuant to the terms of the Lease. <br />2.Rent. During the Extension Term, the City will occupy the Premises at no cost.
