NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The proposal of FIRST CONTINENTAL LEASING CORPORATION of Dallas, Texas, to lease, with an option to purchase, that certain data processing "hardware" equipment to be acquired by the City of Redwood City pursuant to the agreement between said City and CRMC (which agreement was approved by Res. No. 8779, adopted Jan. 26, 1981, by this Council) for a term of five years at an interest rate of 9.95 percent, payable in five annual installments at Fifty-two Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-nine and 44/100 Dollars ($52,869.44), is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease-purchase agreement evidencing the aforesaid trans- action, and the City Manager, Director of Finance, or other appropriate officials are hereby authorized to execute such other documents as may be appropriate to perfect the acquisition of said equipment through said lease-purchase arrangement; provided, however, that all such documents evidencing such acquisition shall be subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form. 2. To the extent, if at all, inconsistent herewith, the provisions of that certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and CRMC (as approved pursuant to Res. No. 8779 above referenced) shall be deemed amended to provide for the acquisition of the data processing "hardware" equipment therein described pursuant to the lease-purchase agreement herein approved. * * * -2-
