(602) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on April 12, 2021. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Espinoza-Garnica, Gee, Hale, Reddy, and Mayor <br />Howard <br />M/S Hale and Reddy to waive the first reading, and re -introduce Zoning Ordinance <br />amendments to Accessory Dwelling Unit requirements, as specified in Alternate 1, <br />Attachment B, for detached single-family and multifamily ADUs to apply a maximum <br />height of 20' with a flat roof, or up to 24' to accommodate a pitched roof, with the additional <br />4' solely devoted to the roof pitch, and to allow no more than 600 sq. ft. to be constructed <br />above the ground floor, to allow for balconies and second story decks to face the interior <br />of the site and not to adjacent side or rear yards, to remove the second story plate height <br />limitations, to retain requirements for clerestory or opaque second story windows and <br />prohibiting unenclosed stairways when located immediately adjacent to side and rear <br />yard. <br />Motion passes 6-0-1 by roll call vote, with Council Member Smith absent. <br />&OF11-:0 <br />Pamela Aguilar, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
