CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />Program Objectives & Quantitative Goals <br />Agency Information <br />Agency Name: Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo <br />Count <br />Address: 330 Twin Dolphin Dr. Suite 119 <br />City, State, ZIP: Redwood City, CA 94065 <br />Activit /Project Title: COVID-19 Child Care Provider Assistance <br />Program Objectives & Quantitative Goals <br />Redwood City Consolidated Plan Priority and Objective Program <br />Addresses: <br />The goal of this program is to help stabilize and sustain the availability of in-home child <br />care in Redwood City. <br />ED -3 Encourage small-business growth <br />Description of Services to be Provided: <br />The Community Child Care Council (4Cs) of San Mateo County program will provide <br />operating assistance of grant amounts up to $10,000 to low income, in-home child care <br />providers located in Redwood City that have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. All <br />applicants must meet the microenterprise definition of a business that has five or fewer <br />employees, one or more of whom owns the business. This activity is an eligible CDBG <br />activity under Assistance to Microbusinesses as described at 24 CFR 570.201(o)(1)(i). <br />Under this category, grantees may use CDBG funds to facilitate economic development <br />through the stabilization of microenterprises. This program will utilize the COVID-19 <br />related HUD waiver that allows the applicant to be considered a one-person household <br />based on the business earnings, instead of collecting income documentation from the <br />owner's entire household per HUD Notice August 7, 2020, FR 6218-N-01, Section <br />111.13.5. d iii . <br />Primary Quantitative Objectives: <br />The COVID-19 Child Care Provider Assistance program will serve up to 23 Redwood <br />City child care providers. <br />NOTE: Performance will be measured by program objectives and quantitative goals.
