Section 15061(b)(c) states that <br />when it can be seen with certainty that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, <br />the activity is not subject to CEQA because of this "common sense exemption." The memo in Attachment <br />C further describes these actions and supports that conclusion. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. On March 12, 2021, ten days prior to the hearing date, notice of the City <br />Council public hearing was posted on the City website, placed in the San Mateo Daily Journal, emailed to <br />an interested parties list, and posted to www.redwoodcity.org/zoningamendments. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1.
