6.1. - Page 10 of 145 <br />Attachment A <br />Bidder's Initials <br />to the successful Bidder. <br />In the event the new vehicle(s) have not been delivered to the City of Redwood City Fleet Division <br />(1400 Broadway Street, Redwood City, CA 94063) within the specified maximum number of days <br />until delivery to Redwood City, the contract between the successful Bidder and the City may be <br />considered null and void. <br />In the event a successful Bidder fails to provide the vehicle within the time specified and the <br />contract is canceled, the City may enter into an agreement with the next lowest Bidder for delivery <br />of the specified vehicle(s) in this document. <br />18. ERRORS AND OMISSIONS <br />The Bidder will not be allowed to take advantage of any error or omission in their Bid Submission. <br />19. FEDERAL AND STATE TAXES <br />The prices bid shall include any Federal tax, exclusive of Federal Excise Tax heretofore imposed <br />by Congress, which is applicable to the material to be furnished. If any sales tax, processing tax, <br />adjustment charge or other taxes or charges are imposed or changed by Congress after the date set <br />for opening bids and made applicable directly upon the production, manufacture or sale of the <br />supplies to be furnished, and are paid by the Supplier on the articles or supplies furnished, then the <br />prices stated in the schedules will be increased or decreased accordingly, and any amounts due the <br />Supplier as the result of such changes will be charged to the City and added on vouchers (or <br />invoices) as separate items. <br />20. PAYMENTS <br />Payment will be made promptly following delivery, inspection, acceptance of goods by the City <br />and receipt of invoice. <br />21. BIDDERS STATEMENT <br />If awarded the contract, the undersigned hereby agrees to supply the vehicle(s) and equipment <br />according to specifications within the time period stated on page 12 ("maximum number of days <br />until delivery to Redwood City") commencing upon receipt of the purchase order by the Successful <br />Bidder. <br />If the unit price and the total amount named by a Bidder for any item do not agree, it will be <br />assumed that the error was made in computing the total amount and the unit price alone will be <br />considered as representing the Bidder's intention. <br />The undersigned has checked carefully all the figures listed in the Bid Proposal Form and <br />understands that the City will not be responsible for any errors or omissions on the part of the <br />undersigned in making up this bid. <br />The undersigned hereby certifies that this bid is genuine, not collusive, or made in the interest or <br />Page 7 of 23 <br />181 <br />
